Its more like rape, kidnapping and attempted murder by two pedophiles holed up in a hotel together (Balmer and Icahn) calling all their rich friends to come over and take a run at their gagged and tied up hostage.
It is such a sick effort, I don't even give it a 1% chance of succeeding, and if it does, it will only be to bankrupt a great company to eliminate the competition. And don't any of you think for a moment than Icahn and Microsoft representatives have not been talking this over for a couple of months now.
These losers have been losing money in the stock market for so long they will do anything to force a dollar into their pocket.

Gordon Gecko was a saint compared to Icahn and Balmer. Quite honestly, I think their efforts will damage Microsoft beyond your wildest dreams.

Agreed. Microsoft is and always has been like the Sopranos of Software with disparate groups that run in packs protected by wealth and the stupid side kick thugs they hire to keep the culture in tact. Microsoft is already damaged beyond repair and continues to hire dregs like themselves to keep it alive. They can't cover it up by brining in the dregs of GE and Wal-Mart either. Thugs of a feather you know...
Only thing is, the Neighborhood is a changing and the Sopranos are obsolete.
