It's a sad day for MSFT. I know for a fact that they will notify all of those who are being released on Thursday, including FTE and give them walking papers for a very near departure. And it will not depend on how you contribute or what your review history is like. It will be the orgs that management wants slimmed down. They are getting 60 days pay and some more based on time at the company.
